Rhinoplasty Plastic Surgeries
Primary Rhinoplasty
We refer to a case as primary when the patient has not undergone surgical or equivalent procedures on the nose before. Such manipulations may include both full rhinoplasty and septoplasty (septum correction), fixation of the nose bones after injuries, as well as non-surgical interventions if they have led to significant changes in the nasal tissues.
Primary rhinoplasty can be performed through an open or closed approach, depending on the patient's anatomy. We work with various techniques: Piezo, preserving rhinoplasty, etc. During the operation, we address not only aesthetic aspects but also functional ones. Thus, septoplasty is always part of rhinoplasty when necessary.
Rhinoplasty is a relatively straightforward operation in terms of rehabilitation. There are no pronounced pains. However, in the first six months after the operation, while there is swelling, patients may experience difficulty breathing through the nose. The final result after primary rhinoplasty can be observed after 1 year.
- Duration of the operation: 1.5-3 hours
- Nights in the hospital: 1
- Total travel time: 8 days
Revision Rhinoplasty
If a patient has undergone one or more nose surgeries in the past, as well as serious injuries or non-surgical interventions resulting in irreversible changes in nasal tissues, we call this operation a revision. A patient may be dissatisfied with the outcome of a previous operation for various reasons: breathing problems, minor or serious aesthetic defects. It is important to understand that not all defects can be corrected in repeat surgeries. The success of a revision surgery depends heavily on the extent of damage and tissue thickness.
In 80% of cases with revision surgeries, the use of a graft is necessary. This is because a significant amount of cartilage tissue is often removed during the first operation, or the remaining cartilage is not suitable for reconstruction. We use the patient's rib cartilage as a graft, which is ideal for reconstructive surgeries. The cartilage is most commonly harvested under the chest. The incision is about 3-4 cm. In the future, there is usually no scar, unless the patient is prone to hypertrophic scarring.
It is essential to understand that rehabilitation after revision rhinoplasty takes longer than after primary rhinoplasty. The final result can be seen in most cases no earlier than a year, and for complex reconstructions, the rehabilitation period can take up to 2 years.
- Duration of the operation: 2-4.5 hours
- Nights in the hospital: 1
- Total travel time: 8 days
Ethnic Rhinoplasty
Each race has a set of anatomical features in the structure of the nose. Ethnic rhinoplasty is a set of techniques developed to correct these features while preserving organ functionality. It primarily involves noses of African, Asian, and Indian types, where we encounter difficulties such as a lack of cartilage tissue, a shortened or absent nasal bridge, and excessively thick skin. In 90% of ethnic rhinoplasties, we use a graft, which is the patient's rib cartilage.
- Duration of the operation: 2-3 hours
- Nights in the hospital: 1
- Total travel time: 8 days
Facial Plastic Surgeries
Upper Blepharoplasty
This surgery is primarily designed to address excessive overhang of the upper eyelid skin. During the operation, the surgeon excises excess skin tissue and fatty tissue, if any. Most cases are age-related, but eyelid overhang can often occur at a young age. This is due to genetics and eye anatomy. The operation is performed through an incision in the natural fold of the upper eyelid. Due to this, in the future, the seam will not be noticeable at all. Sutures are removed a week after surgery.
Upper blepharoplasty is often recommended to combine with temporal lifting to maximize the effect.
- Duration of the operation: 30 minutes -1.5 hours
- Nights in the hospital: 0
- Total travel time: 8 days
Lower Blepharoplasty
This surgery is performed when there are fat hernias in the lower eyelid area or severe sagging of the skin in this area. The operation can be performed through a transconjunctival access (inner side of the lower eyelid) if the patient has no skin excess in the lower eyelid area. If, however, we are dealing with severe sagging, the incision will be located under the eyelashes.
Rehabilitation after lower blepharoplasty is quite fast. Bruises are held for about 10 days. And swelling in most cases goes away in a couple of months.
- Duration of the operation: 30 minutes to 1.5 hours
- Nights in the hospital: 0
- Total travel time: 8 days
Cantopexy ("Fox Eyes" or "Cat's Eye")
This surgery involves correcting the incision of the eye slit by tightening the tendons in the corners of the eye. This operation is used for patients who want to change the cut of the eye to a more almond-shaped. This operation is also recommended for those patients who have naturally lowered corners of the eyes, which gives the face a sad look. This operation in most cases is combined with a temporal elevator.
- Duration of the operation: 1 hour
- Nights in the hospital: 0
- Total travel time: 8 days
Endoscopic Temporal Lift
Another name for this surgery is "temporoplasty". This surgery is used to correct a drooping upper third of the face, which may be evidenced by drooping eyebrows, upper eyelid and outer corners of the eyes. It is not necessarily a matter of age-related changes. In some cases, patients have drooping eyebrows and drooping eyelids from nature. Therefore, the operation can be performed on young patients. At the end of the surgery, the look becomes more open and youthful.
The operation is performed under general anesthesia through small incisions in the scalp behind the temples. Next, an endoscope is inserted. The surgeon, looking at the monitor, carries out all the necessary actions to peel off soft tissue and excision of excess skin and tightening the muscles of the temporal zone.
This operation is very often combined with a lift of the middle third of the face, as the same access is used for these operations.
- Duration of the operation: 1.5 hours
- Nights in the hospital: 1
- Total travel time: 8 days
Endoscopic Forehead Lift - Brow Lift
This is a minimally invasive surgical procedure performed to correct the position of the middle brow area and improve the appearance of the forehead and upper eyelid area. Mini-incisions are made in the scalp above the forehead. Thanks to the use of an endoscope, the traumatism of the operation is minimized, which reduces the period of rehabilitation. The operation is performed under general anesthesia.
At the end of the operation, the patient gets a more open and fresh look. This operation is almost always combined with endoscopic temporal lifting, thus we elevator both the middle and outer part of the eyebrows.
- Duration of the operation: 1.5 hours
- Nights in the hospital: 1
- Total travel time: 8 days
Endoscopic Middle Third Facelift
The middle third of the face involves the cheek area and cheekbone area. Over time, this area can droop and flatten. Loss of volume in this area can give an aged or tired appearance. Most often in patients 35 to 45 years of age, it is possible to correct this area without extensive surgery, but rather with an endoscopic lift through small incisions in the scalp.
This operation allows you to tighten the lowered tissues and muscles of the middle zone of the face, as well as restore volume in the cheek and cheekbone area. Often this operation is well combined with lipofilling face, which allows us to achieve maximum results and improve the quality of the skin.
The operation is performed under general anesthesia.
- Duration of the operation: 2 hours
- Nights in the hospital: 1
- Total travel time: 8 days
Deep Plane Face and Neck Lift
Deep Plane Face Lift is the most advanced facelift technique available today when radical correction of age-related changes is needed. Unlike the more common SMAS method, this technique involves lifting and correcting the deeper musculature and fascial layers in the mid and lower face. By doing so, we achieve more natural-looking and long-lasting results.
By working through the deeper layers, we are able to reduce skin tension, which is important to achieve the most natural look possible. With more superficial techniques such as SMAS, there is often excessive skin tension, which creates an unnatural overdrawn appearance. This can be especially noticeable in the mouth area.
We most often combine a face and neck lift for severe age-related changes. Separate these operations is not recommended, as they are neighboring areas.
The incisions in a Deep Plane elevator are located along the scalp, in front of and behind the ears. They are delicately hidden in the natural lines, and after healing are not conspicuous, and after the completion of rehabilitation are not visible at all. Unless we are talking about patients with a tendency to hyperrubbing. Most often these are patients with very thick problem skin.
The operation is performed under general anesthesia. It is recommended to combine it with blepharoplasty, temporal lifting and facial lipofilling.
- Duration of the operation: 5-8 hours
- Nights in the hospital: 1
- Total travel time: 8 days
Chin Liposuction
This surgery is performed to remove excess fat in the chin and neck area. This allows the second chin to be corrected, and thus the contours and profile of the face.
The surgery can be performed under both local and general anesthesia. The surgeon uses very small incisions, the traces of which will not be visible at all over time.
- Duration of the operation: 1 hour
- Nights in the hospital: 0
- Total travel time: 5 days
Mentoplasty - Chin Implant
This surgery is performed when a patient desires a chin augmentation but is not ready to undergo orthodontic treatment or surgical correction of the bite. By implanting silicone or other suitable material, we enlarge the chin, making it more distinct and expressive.
The operation is performed under general anesthesia through an incision in the hyoid area. Therefore, no visible scars remain in the future. The implant does not need to be replaced over time.
- Duration of the operation: 1.5 hours
- Nights in the hospital: 1
- Total travel time: 9 days
Biscectomy
Bisch clumps are fat capsules that are located in the cheek area. They can give excessive volume to the area. In certain cases, it is possible to resort to their removal in order to achieve a more sculpted face. However, this surgery cannot be recommended for every patient. The removal of Bisch lumps can often provoke sagging cheekbones. Therefore, it can only be performed on patients with very large fat volumes in the cheek area and before the age of 40. Or in combination with a facelift, if indicated.
The operation is carried out under local anesthesia and lasts no more than 30 minutes. After the operation, the patient should refuse solid food for several days.
- Duration of the operation: 30 minutes
- Nights in the hospital: 0
- Total travel time: 5 days
Bullhorn
An upper lip lift, or bullhorn, is performed to shorten the upper lip and lift its contours. This can improve the balance between the upper and lower lips, as well as give the face a more youthful and rested appearance. The procedure involves removing excess skin and tissue under the nose, the suture is hidden in the natural folds of the skin, and becomes almost invisible in the future. The operation also allows you to visually increase the volume of the upper lip.
The operation is indicated for patients with a thin upper lip, or patients with age-related changes, as over time the upper lip can fall.
The surgery is performed under local anesthesia. Often the surgery can be combined with other facial interventions and be part of a rejuvenation complex.
- Duration of the operation: 1 hour
- Nights in the hospital: 0
- Total travel time: 8 days
Facial Lipofilling
Fatgrafting, or facial lipofilling, is performed to add volume to specific areas on the face, correct asymmetry, fill in wrinkles, and generally improve facial appearance. First, fat is taken from the donor area (abdomen, inner surface of thighs), and then, after cleaning, a small amount is transplanted to the desired areas. These can be areas of the forehead, eyelids, cheeks, cheekbones, and chin. After lower blepharoplasty, lipofilling of the area under the eyes is very often performed to correct the voids that have formed.
Lipofilling should be done very delicately to avoid lumping and thickening.
Most often, lipofilling is part of complex rejuvenation surgeries.
- Duration of the operation: 1.5 hours
- Nights in the hospital: 1
- Total travel time: 8 days
Breast Plastic Surgeries
Breast Augmentation
Breast augmentation is indicated for patients who are unhappy with the size and shape of their breasts. Placement of breast implants is the fastest and safest of surgical methods to correct dissatisfaction in the breast area.
Implants come in a variety of shapes (round, anatomical, ergonomic), projections, and sizes. The shape and size of the implant are selected at a face-to-face examination before surgery, after taking measurements of the chest and familiarizing with the aesthetic wishes of the patient.
The implants are placed through a small incision under the breast. This is called "sub-mammary access". This access is the safest among the existing ones, as there is no risk of traumatizing the milk ducts. Therefore, future lactation disruption is highly unlikely.
Modern implants of premium quality, on which we work, do not require replacement in the future, if there are no complaints.
After surgery, the patient wears compression underwear for 6-8 weeks. For the first 2 weeks, the patient is not allowed to drive a car. Stress on the pectoral muscles should be avoided for the first 3 months. The final result can be observed six months after surgery.
- Duration of operation: 1.5 hours
- Nights in the hospital: 1
- Total travel time: 5 days
Breast Lift
A breast lift (or mastopexy) is performed on patients who have the goal of having overly distended breasts. As a result of the operation, we eliminate ptosis (drooping, sagging) of the breast and skin.
If the patient with existing ptosis enough breast tissue to create a good rounded shape, the lift is carried out without additional manipulations. If there is not enough breast tissue, the patient can be additionally fitted with breast implants if desired. If, on the contrary, there is a lot of tissue, the breast is too large, then we conduct a simultaneous lift and reduction (reduction) of the breast.
A full breast lift always involves quite serious sutures, including a vertical component. Unfortunately, without the vertical component, serious breast ptosis cannot be eliminated. Sutures after mastopexy lighten a year after surgery. You can additionally connect laser resurfacing to speed up the process.
- Duration of the operation: 3-3.5 hours
- Nights in the hospital: 1
- Total travel time: 5 days
Breast Reduction
Breast reduction is indicated for patients who suffer from excessively large breasts. In such cases, the patient faces certain difficulties: back pain, discomfort from the bra, irritation of the skin under the breasts. In addition, of course, most patients want to have a tighter and neater breasts.
In these cases, we resort to a breast lift in combination with breast reduction. Of course, with a high probability of losing the possibility of lactation in the future. Therefore, it is advisable to perform this operation for patients who are no longer planning to breastfeed in the future.
- Duration of the operation: 3-3.5 hours
- Nights in the hospital: 1
- Total travel time: 5 days
Breast Lift with Augmentation
Breast lift with implants is the best solution for patients with significant ptosis and insufficient glandular tissue. If only a lift is performed, there may not be enough glandular volume to form a rounded, full breast.
Regarding implant size, we always recommend that patients opt for small implants to avoid complications. A large implant may lead to recurrent ptosis in the future, as the breast will stretch again under its weight.
- Duration of the operation: 3-3.5 hours
- Nights in the hospital: 1
- Total travel time: 5 days
Breast Lipofilling
Lipofilling, or transplantation of the patient's fat, is used very frequently in mammoplasty. Lipofilling can act as a stand-alone procedure with the goal of breast augmentation. But it is not possible to increase the breast by more than 1 size with the help of lipofilling. Fat in this area takes root rather poorly. And the introduction of too much fat leads to the formation of fat lumps. In addition, the introduction of fat in the breast area can provoke cysts. Therefore, we can not recommend this method, and we are of the opinion that the safer and more effective method of enlargement is still the installation of breast implants.
Nevertheless, we use breast lipofilling very often, but precisely as an additional procedure during mammoplasty. Lipofilling allows us to correct asymmetry, interbreast distance, hide the contours of the implant in patients with thin chest. Thus, lipofilling allows us to achieve the most natural results in mammoplasty. In this case we are talking about a very small amount of fat (60-70cc), the introduction of fat is strictly along the contours of the implant and in the interbreast region. Therefore, this method is safe for the patient.
- Duration of the operation: 30-40 minutes
- Nights in the hospital: 1
- Total travel time: 4-5 days
Body Plastic Surgeries
Liposuction and Liposculpture
Liposuction is a surgical procedure aimed at eliminating localized fat deposits in patients. The most effective technique today is Vaser ultrasonic liposuction. The device preserves the integrity of the aspirated material, allowing the use of the patient's own fat for further transplantation if desired. When combining liposuction and lipofilling, this complex is commonly referred to as "liposculpture" or "body sculpting."
The most popular complex is the 360-degree liposuction, where the abdomen, sides, and back are treated, addressing the waistline in a circular manner. Additional liposuction areas may include arms, inner or outer thighs, knees, and calves. This operation specifically targets localized fat deposits and is not suitable for patients suffering from obesity. It is unsafe to remove more than 5-6 liters of fat in one session.
The patient's skin condition is a critical factor for the success of this operation. Liposuction yields optimal results for patients with elastic skin, especially those who haven't given birth. Ultradetailed liposuction in the abdominal area can even achieve a sculpted appearance. However, for those with inelastic skin (post-childbirth or due to aging), liposuction alone may be insufficient. In such cases, abdominoplasty and J plasma may be recommended depending on the situation.
The operation is performed under general anesthesia, and post-operatively, the patient is required to wear compression garments for 6-8 weeks.
Abdominoplasty
The primary goal of this operation is to enhance the external contours of the abdomen by removing excess skin and fat, as well as strengthening the abdominal wall muscles. This operation is often recommended for patients post-childbirth or after significant weight loss.
The scar from abdominoplasty is typically located at the bottom of the abdomen and is concealed by underwear. During the operation, the surgeon reconstructs abdominal wall muscles, corrects diastasis, excises excess skin, and removes excess fat through liposuction. A new opening for the navel is often created during the operation, resulting in a defined waist and flat abdomen.
This operation should not be performed earlier than a year after childbirth. It imposes lifestyle restrictions on the patient during the recovery period, requiring avoidance of heavy lifting and strenuous activities for 3-4 months. Compression garments should be worn for 6-8 weeks.
Wound healing varies among patients, with complications more likely in smokers and those with impaired blood circulation. To minimize risks, patients are advised to quit smoking at least 3 weeks before the operation. Alcohol and poor nutrition also negatively impact tissue recovery.
- Duration of the operation: 4-6 hours
- Nights in the hospital: 2
- Total trip duration: 8 days
Brachioplasty (Arm Lift)
This operation is indicated when there is excess skin in the upper arms in addition to fatty deposits. Arm skin can stretch after significant weight loss or with age-related loss of elasticity. The procedure may involve the removal of excess skin and fat, as well as muscle tightening. The scar from arm lift surgery is typically located on the inner part of the arms.
The operation is performed under general anesthesia, and post-operatively, the patient is required to wear compression garments for 4-6 weeks.
- Duration of the operation: 2-3 hours
- Nights in the hospital: 1
- Total trip duration: 8 days
Thigh Lift (Femoroplasty)
Thigh lift, or femoroplasty, is a surgical procedure aimed at correcting the shape and contours of the thighs. This procedure is performed to remove excess fat and tighten the skin and tissues in the thigh area, providing a more slender and youthful appearance.
Femoroplasty may include liposuction, removal of excess skin, and muscle tightening in the thigh area. It may be recommended for patients with excess fat, sagging skin, or other changes in the thigh area caused by factors such as aging, pregnancy, or significant weight loss.
The scar from thigh lift surgery is located on the inner surface of the thighs, and in rare cases, it may be possible to make an incision only along the bikini line. In some cases, a combination of horizontal and vertical stitches is used. Healing in this area is challenging due to the high mobility, making this operation one of the most uncomfortable in terms of rehabilitation. Patients need to allocate sufficient time for the recovery process to minimize complications.
Successful operation outcomes depend on the patient's commitment to quit smoking, ensuring blood circulation is not compromised.
The operation is performed under general anesthesia, and post-operatively, the patient is required to wear compression garments for 6-8 weeks.
- Duration of the operation: 3-4 hours
- Nights in the hospital: 1
- Total trip duration: 10 days
J Plasma
Renuvion J plasma technology has been used in recent years in aesthetic surgery. The use of cold plasma after liposuction maximizes skin contraction. The use of J plasma is recommended for patients undergoing volumetric liposuction and with insufficient skin elasticity.
However, this technology is not an alternative to abdominoplasty and is not able to solve the problem of severe sagging tissues, when the solution can only be their excision.
The procedure is carried out immediately after the completion of liposuction through the same holes. That is, no additional scars are implied by the procedure.
- Duration of the operation: 1.5 to 2 hours
- Nights in the hospital: 1
- Total trip duration: 8 days
Buttocks Plastic Surgeries
Lipofilling for Buttocks (BBL)
This procedure is part of body liposculpture, conducted after liposuction. Fat extracted during liposuction is purified for grafting. Fat grafting can be performed on the buttocks and hips to increase volume or shape the buttocks.
Fat in the buttock area integrates well but strict recommendations must be followed. Sitting or lying on the buttocks is prohibited for one month post-operation. To ease this, patients are provided with a special cushion, alleviating pressure on the graft area. Maintaining a consistent weight is crucial for the first 1.5-2 months.
It's not advisable to transplant too much fat in one session to avoid fat tissue necrosis. For patients desiring large volumes, it's better to conduct the procedure in two sessions with a 6-month interval.
The most serious risk is embolism when injected fat enters the bloodstream, potentially leading to a fatal outcome. We adhere to the Safe BBL technique, where fat is injected strictly under the skin, avoiding aggressive injection into the muscle area. Though this technique yields less transplanted fat, complications are minimized.
- Operation Duration: 30 minutes
- Nights in the Hospital: 1 Total
- Trip Duration: 8 days
Buttock Augmentation (Gluteoplasty)
Gluteoplasty is for patients wishing to increase buttock volume without sufficient fat for lipofilling. Augmentation is done through the placement of buttock implants.
The operation is performed under general anesthesia. Incisions are made in the fold between the buttocks. The pocket is located inside the muscle, placing implants intramuscularly for maximum fixation. Implant size is limited by muscle size, allowing projection enhancement but not increasing hip width. If the patient has a small amount of fat, lipofilling of the hips can be additionally performed.
This operation has many nuances and a high complication rate even with strict postoperative recommendations. Implants may be felt after surgery, contouring and shifting due to their location.
- Operation Duration: 2 hours
- Nights in the Hospital: 1 Total
- Trip Duration: 8 days
Buttock Lift
This operation is performed in cases of sagging buttock muscles and skin tissues, often occurring after significant weight loss or due to aging. It involves excising skin at the upper part of the buttocks, lifting sagging buttock tissues.
The operation is conducted under general anesthesia. Incisions are made at the upper part of the buttocks, later hidden by underwear.
The operation restores a rounded shape to the buttocks and is often performed in conjunction with abdominoplasty. In such cases, the patient will have a circular suture.
- Operation Duration: 3 hours
- Nights in the Hospital: 2 Total
- Trip Duration: 10 days
Intimate Plastic Surgeries
Labiaplasty
This procedure is performed on the area of the small or large labia in case of dissatisfaction with their size and shape.
Most often, such manipulations as reduction (decrease) of the small labia in case of asymmetry or protrusion beyond the large labia, reduction (decrease) of the large labia, and fat grafting of the large labia are carried out.
Operations can be performed under both local and general anesthesia. Recovery after the operation is quite fast, but sexual activity should be avoided for 1 month.
- Operation duration: 1 hour
- Nights in the hospital: 0
- Total duration of the trip: 5 days
Vaginoplasty
This operation is most often performed to correct vaginal relaxation resulting from childbirth. The goal of the operation is to narrow and reconstruct the shape of the vagina to restore comfort and functionality in this area.
The operation is performed under general anesthesia. After the operation, sexual rest is recommended for 2 months.
- Operation duration: 2 hours
- Nights in the hospital: 1
- Total duration of the trip: 7 days
Bariatric Surgery - Treatment of Obesity
Sleeve Gastrectomy (Sleeve Resection of the Stomach)
Sleeve gastrectomy, a laparoscopic surgery, is recommended for patients with obesity. During the procedure, a large portion of the stomach is removed, and its shape is altered. As a result, the patient is no longer able to consume large amounts of food, initiating the weight loss process.
The weight loss process post-surgery lasts approximately 1 year, during which the weight decreases to a normal level.
The operation is performed exclusively for patients suffering from obesity who are unable to lose weight on their own, typically those with a Body Mass Index (BMI) over 35. Prior to the operation, extensive examinations are conducted to rule out serious pathologies and contraindications.
After the operation, patients must adhere to a special diet. In the initial days, only liquids are allowed, followed by pureed soups. A couple of weeks later, porridge and stewed vegetables can be introduced into the diet. Normal eating is possible after 4-6 weeks when the stomach fully heals after the intervention.
- Operation Duration: 3 hours
- Nights in the Hospital: 3
- Total Trip Duration: 8 days
Gastric Balloon
This procedure is recommended for patients with initial obesity, with a Body Mass Index (BMI) up to 30-35.
It is a non-surgical procedure conducted endoscopically under sedation. A silicone gastric balloon is introduced through the patient's mouth and throat, later filled with a saline solution according to the patient's stomach size. The aim of this procedure is to help patients control their appetite and lose weight. The balloon occupies a part of the patient's stomach, leading to a quick feeling of satiety and a reduction in the amount of consumed food.
The balloon is installed for 6 months and is then removed using the same procedure. It is assumed that during this period, the patient tries to follow a diet, increases physical activity to achieve maximum results from the procedure. Typically, around 10-15 kg can be lost during this period.
It is important to be prepared for difficulties in the first few days after the balloon is installed. Discomfort and nausea may be observed, usually fading away in the first 5 days post-procedure. In rare cases, complete intolerance of the balloon may occur, leading to its extraction.
- Procedure Duration: 30 minutes
- Nights in the Hospital: 0
- Total Trip Duration: 5 days
Hair Transplantation
Hair transplantation is a surgical procedure aimed at relocating hair follicles from one part of the body (donor area) to another part where hair is absent or sparse. This procedure is commonly used to restore hair on the scalp but can also be applied to correct hair loss on the beard and eyebrows.
The hair transplantation process typically involves the following steps:
- Follicle Extraction: Hair is extracted from the donor zone, usually located on the back or sides of the head. Follicles can be extracted individually or in small groups.
- Preparation of the Recipient Area: The area where the hair will be transplanted is prepared to receive the follicles. This involves creating microchannels or micropunctures.
- Transplantation of Follicles: Extracted hair follicles are transplanted into the created microchannels in the transplant area.
- Healing and Hair Growth: After the procedure, the follicles begin to grow and integrate into the new area, producing new hair. The final result is typically visible about 9 months after the operation.
Hair transplantation can be an effective method for restoring hair density and addressing hair loss issues. The procedure may require several sessions depending on the scope of work and desired results. The operation is performed under local anesthesia, and most patients can return to normal activities within a few days after the procedure.
The most common transplantation methods are Follicular Unit Excision (FUE) and Direct Hair Implantation (DHI). FUE is used for extensive transplantation and requires shaving the hair. DHI is suitable for smaller transplant volumes (often used for female hair transplantation) and does not require shaving.
It's important to understand that this operation does not eliminate the underlying causes of hair loss; it merely cosmetically corrects the patient's appearance. Therefore, it is recommended to continue trichological treatment even after hair transplantation.
- Operation Duration: 8-10 hours
- Hospital Nights: 0
- Overall Duration of the Trip: 3 days
